Who is the gatekeeper?

The gatekeeper is the person who stops you from speaking to the decision maker - in effect this person blocks the salesperson from talking to the key person who might place an order. The gatekeeper can be a receptionist, a secretary, a PA, a junior in the same office, a senior in the same office - in fact anyone who thinks they know better than you!
